Climate In the Classroom with the 350NH Youth Team
Students From Across the State Rally for Climate Literacy in the Classroom
The 350 NH Youth Team introduced a house resolution suggesting the importance of teaching climate literacy in New Hampshire high schools this legislative session. While it was voted “indefinitely postponed” we are continuing our fight and advocacy for a climate literate future. They hosted an event in front of the NH State House to show their legislators the kind of education they deserve. Students set up a makeshift classroom and heard from different presenters about climate issues and their visions for climate literacy in our state.
New Hampshire would benefit from having youth invested in staying in the state, and having a plan for a climate future is part of that investment. Youth want to learn about climate change and need help from the community in continuing to advocate for a green future.
