ABOUT 350NH
People Power
for Climate Justice
350 New Hampshire is a multigenerational movement working to advance a just transition to a renewable energy economy and an end to our society’s dependence on fossil fuels. We are building the movement for climate justice and working for local and national systemic change.
To stop the climate crisis by building grassroots support for a just transition to renewable energy and an end to fossil fuel use and expansion. We envision a society with a renewable energy economy that works for all people, where all communities live free of environmental injustice and climate catastrophe.

Stop construction of new
fossil fuel infrastructure
Our History
Climate activism since 2012
Twelve years ago there was no visible grassroots movement fighting for climate justice in NH and the absence showed in our state’s lack of urgency and political will to address the climate crisis. A group of activists, students, farmers and teachers identified this gap in 2012 and launched 350NH to build a powerful grassroots movement to fight for a just transition to renewable energy. Since then we’ve grown into the largest grassroots climate organization in the New Hampshire with hundreds of volunteers across the state.
New Hampshire Peace Action supported us as a fiscal sponsor until 2022. Learn more about NHPA here.
350NH vs. 350.org
350NH is independent. We are not funded by 350.org.
350NH is an independent 501(c)3 organization. We are a local affiliate of 350.org National. That means that we are run by and for the people of New Hampshire, we do all of our own fundraising and make all our own decisions. 350NH shares many goals and much of our branding with 350.org, and we work together as partner organizations. A donation to 350.org will NOT support 350NH’s work.
