Have your heard of the Granite Bridge Pipeline and storage facility? It is the fossil fuel industry’s latest attack on our state.
Liberty Utility proposes to build a 27 mile pipeline to carry fracked methane gas between Manchester and Stratham and a storage and liquefaction facility to hold 2 Billion Cubic Ft of Methane Gas in Epping. This project impacts the whole state as it will lock us into dirty energy use for decades to come and Liberty Utility rate payers will pay the 340 Million Dollar bill. It is bad for our health, it is bad for the climate and it is bad for the economy.
Join 350NH and the Monadnock Progressive Alliance on June 27th at 6:00 to learn more about this project and what you can do to stop it.
We have a beautiful history of community resilience and pipeline resistance in NH and it is time to stand up and show the fossil fuel industry that NH will not stand idly by and let our communities be sacrifice zones for the benefit of a handful of fossil fuel elite. Join us in standing up for your community, for your neighbors living front line to this pipeline, and for the people in Appalachia whose lives are being torn apart by fracking.
